Meet REV JOHN MICHAEL
Background
Rev. John Michael O’Sullivan received a Master’s Degree and was ordained from St. Joseph’s Seminary in New York, in 1992. The prior focus of study was on the four primary pillars: human formation, spiritual formation, intellectual formation and pastoral formation. Rev. John’s current and present focus in education is in the belief in Renewal and Growth in the Spirit as the One True Education. Awake and Seek first the Kingdom of God. Transition with Love and Spiritual Transformation.

With a focus on personalization and attention to detail, REV JOHN MICHAEL works closely with each couple to create a ceremony that reflects their unique love story. As a Professional Celebrant being formally trained, Rev. John studied philosophy, theology, biblical studies, liturgy, religious, ethical and spiritual topics. He has extensive experience and skills relating these to his ministry. He is confident and articulate in public speaking. As a Professional Celebrant, Rev. John has Ecclesiastical Endorsement from FCM, a registered religious faith group organization.
Philosophy
At the heart of REV JOHN MICHAEL's philosophy is a belief in the power of love and commitment, and a commitment to ceremonies that celebrate these values. Rev. John is a Religious Ministry Professional, in his respective Religious Organization and Faith Group, his role is in chaplaincy. As a Chaplain, Rev. John has an extensive pastoral background and proficiency celebrating Life Cycles and liturgical events since 1992, ie. Weddings, Funerals, Baptisms, Baby Naming’s, House Blessings and Anointing’s. During the week, Rev. John respects and celebrates Life as a Hospice Chaplain since 1995, praying with individuals of all faiths, and guiding them and their families on their final journeys and after their journey ends leading their families in bereavement support. Rev. John also is a guest speaker on end of life topics.
